Bright Lights and Big Dreams celebrates the great composers of musical theatre – from Rodgers & Hammerstein to Bernstein and Sondheim. Join State Opera for a night of powerful, dramatic, and tender musical moments from the classics including Sweeney Todd, Carousel, Oklahoma!, Candide, West Side Story and more. Featuring an All-Star Australian cast led by Ben Mingay and Antoinette Halloran, with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra conducted by Anthony Hunt.
